Tree Planting 2013

Spring is off to a great start here at the nursery! The cool temps have allowed for a nice smooth transition so far into the spring season.  

We were able to get all of our new liners planted last week, so they can get a great jump start and take advantage of early spring rains. Check out our video below for a look at the tree planting process. Like every spring, we plant a new full crop into the field for the future.  It is important to know that as your grower we are committed to lining out new trees every spring.  By planting for the future, we can provide a consistent supply to our customers for many years to come.

The second half of our video features a great conversation between Becky, her dad Doug Harford, and son Joey.  Doug shares his experience about soil health with the next two generations entrusted to care for our farm.  It's a great clip showing why spring is a perfect time to look at your soil health.
